Flashback Who’s That?
Casper, George Jetson, Donny or Marie
Remembah when they dressed us in sweaty, plastic masks and tie-in-
the-back smocks and called it a costume? The costume in a box was
cheap, fast and easy to find. The elastic band on the mask was
guaranteed not to last the night. Good thing, because we lost all
peripheral vision while wearing the mask and racing across streets
while carrying an old pillowcase. The supposed 'flame retardant'
smocks usually ripped the first time you tried it on. I never trusted
mine near an open flame or a nearby adult smoking a Pall Mall.
